The bizarre incident started in the drive-thru lane outside a Wendy's burger joint in Daytona Beach. According to investigators, a dispute over a dinner order flamed up like a greasy stove top. The female customer got out of her car and raced inside to confront the drive-thru clerk. Startled witnesses say the incensed customer unholstered a pink stun gun and began chasing the Wendy's worker.
Now, there's a mental image for you. They make stun guns in PINK? Is that for military use or for the police? Imagine being that poor clerk, pursued by a crazed customer trying to nuke you with 40-thousand volts. Fortunately, the clerk was fast on his feet and escaped being tazed. The customer stomped out in a snit. And she might have disappeared into the night. But instead, our brilliant stun gun gal later phoned Wendy's to complain about the service- leading to her arrest on assault charges. Shocking!
So as a public service, we remind all fast food patrons to remember a few simple dining etiquette tips:
1) pink stun guns are only appropriate for daytime rampages. During the evening hours, basic black is always in vogue.
2) When complaining by telephone, remember to always be polite. Please press one for customer service and press two if you're a raving lunatic.
Have a great day!.
